Reverend Dr. Clay Evans, son of Henry Clay and Estanauly Evans, was born in Brownsville, Tennessee. This history maker was married to Lutha Mae Hollingshed for seventy-three years, and they were the proud parents of five children.
Reverend Pharis D. Evans
August 1932 – January 2022
Pastor Evans was born to the late Henry Clay and Estanualy Evans in Brownsville, Tennessee. After spending his young years in Brownsville, Pastor Evans moved to Chicago, IL, in 1950 to be with his brothers. He was one of six who helped his brother Rev. Clay Evans organize Fellowship Baptist Church.
